The ultimate goal of every league member: to be enshrined and immortalized in league history. A ring here is not a trophy — it is a permanent, public record that for one particular year, in front of everyone, you were better than eleven people who wanted it just as badly. It cannot be traded, deleted, or negotiated. It is struck once, it stays forever, and the only way to get one is to earn it.
The champion wins one power: to amend the previous year's rule and/or add a new one. The league you play today is the accumulated will of everyone who has won it.
